Terms and Conditions

Liability and defects:

In the event of any technical shortcomings or the incorrect functioning of a product sold by BTR Racing Products (under normal use), BTR Racing Products is not liable for damage to other parts. In this case, BTR Racing Products will re-deliver the incorrectly functioning part or refund the purchase price of the product sold by BTR Racing Products in its entirety upon return.

 

In this event BTR Racing Products will require pictures showing the incorrectly functioning part, to decide if the part is truly functioning incorrectly and if this is the fault of the installer.

 

If components show signs of damage outside normal use (like fall damage not sustained during shipping) or parts being installed incorrectly this arrangement also does not apply

 

This arrangement is valid for a period of 3 months after the date of sale of the product(s). The above does not apply to the following wear parts:

Delivery time & Shipping costs:

We do our best to deliver the order to you as soon as possible. Orders placed on working days, we try to ship the following day. However, we are not always able to fulfill this, sometimes products are not in stock and the delivery of your order may take a little longer. Items with a longer order time have this indicated on the product page. If for whatever reason we cannot meet these delivery times, we will of course inform you as soon as possible.

 

The shipping costs are dependant on product size, the delivery location and selected parcel service, and can be found under your order checkout.

 

Delivery is via the postman or parcel delivery from various parcel services. In general, the delivery will take place in maximum of 5 working days. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the time of delivery, but you will automatically receive a tracking link if tracking is available for your selected delivery option.

 

Supplementary Terms and Conditions – Special Orders

 

Article 1 – Applicability

  1. These supplementary terms apply to all special orders placed with BTR Racing Products, hereinafter referred to as “BTR”, in addition to BTR’s general terms and conditions.

  2. A special order is defined as any product that is specially ordered, customized, manufactured, or imported at the customer’s request and is not a standard stock item at BTR.

Article 2 – Ordering and Delivery

  1. Special orders will only be processed after written confirmation of the order by the customer.

  2. BTR may require a (partial) prepayment before processing a special order.

  3. Delivery times for special orders may differ from standard delivery times. BTR will inform the customer accordingly.

Article 3 – Cancellation and Returns

  1. Special orders cannot be cancelled free of charge once the order has been confirmed by BTR.

  2. If BTR, at its discretion and as a gesture of goodwill, agrees to a cancellation or return of a special order, a handling and administrative fee of 15% of the invoice amount will be charged.

  3. Returns of special orders will only be accepted if:
    a. the return has been pre-approved in writing by BTR;
    b. the product is unused and in its original packaging; and
    c. the product is received by BTR within 14 days after the return authorization has been granted.

  4. All costs and risks related to the return shipment are entirely the responsibility of the customer.

Article 4 – Warranty and Liability

  1. Standard warranty conditions apply to special orders, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  2. BTR shall not be liable for any deviations or defects resulting from specifications, dimensions, or designs provided by the customer.

Article 5 – Miscellaneous

  1. In the event of any inconsistency between these supplementary terms and BTR’s general terms and conditions, these supplementary terms shall prevail with regard to special orders.

  2. All agreements are governed exclusively by the laws of the Netherlands.
